We accept water samples 8 am-4 pm, Monday-Friday. We do not accept samples on weekends or holidays or the day preceding a holiday.

We only accept cash or checks. Repeat customers, such as public water systems, may prefer to pre-purchase books of coupons with cash or check which can be used to pay for samples when they are brought in. Call the lab for current pricing.
No, you must have one of our sterile bottles for collecting a sample. Please don’t submit samples in a bottle that you got from another lab. Please check the expiration date on the bottle!
The results will be out the next day after submitting a sample. We will call the person who collected the sample if it is positive. We will mail a copy of the results to the client. If a copy of the results is needed quicker we can email results upon request.
We cannot test any open bodies of water.
We are only certified to test potable (drinking) water from sources such as public drinking water systems, private water wells, and bottled water.
Construction companies installing new water lines for public water systems may also submit water samples to us for testing.
No. Samples must be delivered to our lab located at 815 N. Broadway, Tyler (please come to the rear entrance of the building). We must begin the testing process on the sample within 30 hours of collection. So, please deliver the sample to our lab in a timely manner.
No, we do not see patients at our lab. We do perform Syphilis, Gonorrhea, and Chlamydia testing at our lab, but we receive those specimens from private STD clinics in Smith County and health department clinics in surrounding counties.
