FUNCTION
To assist WIC Director and Assistant WIC Director by ensuring productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.
MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Keeps inventory of all HHS stocked forms and literature.
Keeps inventory of all equipment for the project (checks inventory in and out). Keeps a current digital and hard copy of inventory at all times (state WIC inventory and physical assets inventory).
Completes requisitions for supplies as instructed.
Maintains computer, lab, and nutrition education equipment in working condition.
Completes monthly supply orders for all teams within local agency and ensures each site has adequate amounts of supplies.
Maintains order and organization in the warehouse.
TASK ASSIGNMENTS:
Keeps track of EBT card inventory.
Orders forms and literature as needed.
Keeps staff informed as new materials arrive.
Maintains inventory in designated areas, labeling items for easy access.
Accepts incoming orders and verifies packages for accuracy.
Meets deadlines for filling supply orders.
Prepares monthly supplies for each site, communicating any issues or shortages.
Assists staff in loading/unloading of supplies.
Identifies any missing, lost or damaged material/equipment and immediately notifies the supervisor.
Maintains cleanliness in the warehouse and surrounding areas.
Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
Assists Admin Team with assigned duties.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED TO PERFORM IN THIS POSITION:
Consults with supervisor on “uncommon requests” and follows his/her recommendation.
Records in a clear, concise, objective manner.
Participates in record audit process as requested.
Opens, dates, and properly distributes mail and shipments to appropriate WIC staff.

Maintains personal grooming and dress appropriate for job responsibilities and for contact with the public. Wears name badge when involved with client contact.
May be exposed to communicable diseases.
Must be fully immunized within 90 days of employment, and show proof thereof.
Prior experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is required.
Must be able to spend six to eight hours walking and standing and/or sitting.
Must be able to lift up to 80 pounds and stretch to reach files.
