The Center for Healthy Living at 2815 Frankston Highway in Tyler hosts two free sessions each week - every Tuesday and every Thursday from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
The Tuesday afternoon classes are designed for persons with Type-2 Diabetes to learn easy ways for adjust their lifestyle and better manage the symptoms of Type 2 Diabetes.
The Thursday afternoon classes are designed not only for persons who are Pre-Diabetic and are on the way to being diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes, and also for persons who may not realize they may be Pre-Diabetic. These prevention sessions are the best time to tweak a few habits and to prevent the onset of Type 2 Diabetes.
Statistically, one of our every 8 East Texas residents have Type 2 Diabetes.
