Laboratory Services

Program Overview

The NET Health Regional Laboratory performs environmental, analytical and medical testing services, in order to provide valid data to those who are making decisions about how best to protect public health.

Environmental

The environmental laboratory division provides microbiological tests routinely on milk (regulatory only) and potable water.

Clinical Laboratory

The medical laboratory division provides clinical laboratory services to all our Health Department programs and other local health agencies in the Northeast Texas Region 4/5 area (encompasses 35 regional counties).

Certified laboratory testing includes syphilis serology, Neisseria gonorrhea and Chlamydia testing (STD testing).
